May this case be solved in record speed.
“Justice Secretary Leila de Lima revealed on Tuesday, July 29, that the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) is closing in on the killers of international race car driver Enzo Pastor,” reports Edu Punay in The Philippine Star.
According to this ABS-CBNnews.com report, the bureau has already identified the suspects but De Lima explained, “A parallel probe is being conducted by the NBI-Death Investigation Division. What I know is that the case is nearing solution.”
The report said that “De Lima did not go into details so as not to jeopardize the police operations against the suspects.”
President Noynoy Aquino mentioned the Pastor murder case in State of the Nation Address on Monday, July 28.

The NBI stepped into the case after the Pastor family sought the bureau’s help shortly after the 31-year-old racer was shot dead by motorcycle-riding men in Quezon City last June 12.
