NBA star LeBron James to Manila in September

The King is returning to Manila.

Basketball superstar and three-time NBA champion LeBron James is coming back to the Philippines as part of his tour on September 2 at the Mall of Asia Arena, according to the Nike Philippines’ website.

This will be the third time that the Cleveland Cavaliers main gunner will be visiting the country.
According to the website, James will be in Manila for his 2017 tour billed as “LeBron James Strive for Greatness Show.”

James was supposed to visit the Philippines last September 2016 but this was cancelled due to “logistical challenges,” Nike announced at the time.

He was then scheduled to hold a “Battle the Doubt Bootcamp,” a one-day basketball camp featuring professional Nike coaches and athletes, with players from selected schools and teams from different barangays taking part.

The four-time NBA MVP first visited Manila in 2013 for his “Witness” tour, shortly after winning his first championship with the Miami Heat.

He returned in 2015 for his “Rise Beyond Belief” tour, where he worked with the kids of Team Rise.
