“A 27-year-old fisherman named Archival Naval was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds Wednesday night, August 13, in Barangay Tanza, Navotas City,” reports Vaughn Alviar in Philippine Daily Inquirer.
According to the report, Naval “was last seen alive around 10pm buying liquor in his Tambak 1 neighborhood.”
Police revealed that the following were recovered at the crime scene: eight bullet casings, as well as the items Naval had bought—a bottle of gin, a sachet of powdered juice, and grilled chicken heads.
The police were also “checking reports that the victim, who sported a Sputnik gang tattoo, had been out on bail after being charged with theft and acts of lasciviousness.”
