If you’re on your way home, or on your way out to Friday night, maybe you’d like to consider Uber? The transportation service is donating all of its proceeds today, Jan 30, to the families left behind by the 44 slain PNP-SAF heroes.
“Today, all of Uber’s proceeds from the trips you take will be donated to the Land Bank of the Philippines account specifically set up by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to aid the families of the men whose lives were lost in Sunday’s operation,” Uber’s newsletter reads.
If you don’t need a ride tonight, you can always make a deposit to the “PNP Special Assistance Fund” that the PNP has set up with the Land Bank of the Philippines.
If you know of other ways to help, please, let us know. We’ll do the same.
