“Police have beefed up security in all airport terminals in the capital following the seizure of explosives inside a parked vehicle at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3,” reports Ryan Chua on ABS-CBNnews.com.
According to Chief Supt. Christopher Laxa, director of the Philippine National Police Aviation Security Group, “he has ordered more than 200 police personnel, including those who are off duty, to secure the airport terminals.”
The report noted: “This is an increase from the usual 175 personnel guarding NAIA’s four terminals on ordinary days.”
