The secret is out, beach boys and girls. The growing scene of backpackers are discovering Nacpan beach, a slice of paradise in El Nido, Palawan.
In the list released by travel website TripAdvisor, Nacpan Beach made it as the 10th most beautiful beach in ;the world. The Philippines was one of the only three Asian countries who made it to the list. The other two were Myanmar (Ngapali, #8) and Thailand (Kata Noi, #19).
Taking the top spot was Grace Bay in Turks and Caicos.
Nacpan is in the sleepy town of El Nido. It is part of the famed twin beaches, the other being Calitang Beach.
It’s wonderful that the archipelago is finally getting recognition for its awesome beaches, but we’re hoping that Nacpan won’t turn into the next Boracay — which was not in the 2016 Travellers’ Choice list.
