Museo ni Jose Rizal opens in Calamba, Laguna

The National Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) opened the Museo ni Jose Rizal in Calamba, Laguna today, Fri, Jun 19, in time for the commemoration of the hero’s 154th birth anniversary. As eveyone knows, Calamba is the birthplace of Rizal.

One of the art pieces featured in the exhibit is a bronze sculpture of Rizal done by noted artist Julie Lluch.

The museum now also boasts of an e-learning facility where students can access the NHCP’s online history lessons about Rizal and other Filipino heroes.
