“The Metro Rail Transit (MRT) will deploy express trains beginning Wednesday, May 7,” reports Mary Rose A. Hogaza in Manila Bulletin.
The Express Train experiment will run for two weeks; an express train will be deployed alternately with regular trains.
The schedule and stops will be as follows:
1. From 7am to 9am: North Avenue, Quezon Avenue/Kamuning/Cubao (alternating), Buendia, Ayala, Magallanes and Taft
2. From 5pm to 7pm: Taft, Magallanes/Ayala/Buendia (alternating), Cubao, Kamuning, Quezon Avenue and North Avenue
