There are far too many killers on Metro Manila roads.
“Motorcycle rider Gerardo Garcia—a 37-year-old driver of Maynilad Water Services Inc.—was run over by a truck at the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Mindanao Avenue Extension at around 3:40am on Friday, August 8,” reports Kori Quintos on ABS-CBNnews.com.
Garcia’s skull got crushed in the accident.
The truck was said to be attempting to beat the red light when it hit him. The truck driver just drove away after he saw that Garcia was down on the road.
Garcia’s family has been informed about the accident.
A witness has come forward and told the police that he took note of the truck’s license plate number. The investigation is now ongoing.
