Metro Manila residents are told to accept road acccidents as part of city life, but it’s tough seeing somebody literally dead on the road.
“A motorcycle rider, who was identified as Arwin Mente based on a driver’s license recovered from him, was found dead at the foot of the C-5 flyover leading to Quezon City area,” reports ABS-CBN News correspondent Jerome Lantin on ABS-CBNnews.com. Mente’s body was found a few meters away from his motorcycle.
According to the report, “The incident snarled traffic in the area, as the body of the victim, blocked a portion of the road.”
Meanwhile, Inspector Ernesto Mones, head of the Pasig police traffic division, revealed that “the motorcycle with plate number 8533 PG was registered under a certain Johnny Dordas.”
For now, traffic investigators are still trying to determine how the accident happened and if other vehicles were involved in it.
