This is exactly why they say “keep your eyes on the road.”
Facebook user Ronhel Estrada Lingad shared a now-viral video earlier today of a motorcycle rider who hit another bike, all because he couldn’t keep his gaze away from a woman on the streets of Guyong in Sta. Maria, Bulacan.
Lingad’s caption was a rhyming phrase that goes: “Ang mata sa kalsada hindi sa waste line ng dalaga.”
This literally translates into: “Keep your eyes on the road, not on the waistline of a young woman.”
It doesn’t have the same ring to it but you get the idea.
He added the hashtag “kamote rider.” The Filipino word kamote literally means sweet potato in English, but in this instance, it means that the driver is reckless.
The video shows Lingad driving through the road. He eventually drives close to a fellow motorcycle rider in a green jersey who happened to be looking at a woman walking on the street.
The man looks away only to take another glance at the woman, which makes him bump into another motorcycle rider that stopped on the road.
Lingad couldn’t help but laugh out loud.
The video had over 275,000 views, 4,900 likes, and 6,100 shares as of this article’s posting. Netizens thought it was funny AF.
Kaijuzoku Memes wrote in Filipino: “[That’s what he gets] for looking elsewhere.”

Perry Paterno wrote: “[Keep your] EYES ON THE ROAD.”

“You’re a pervert you asshole,” said Joshua Matthew Rivera.

Jeremiah Payumo Fernandez added: “Serves you right.”

Ter Yow laughed and said the driver shouldn’t have done that.

We can’t argue with karma.
