The National Police has received at least 86 motorcycles and 100 handheld radios to aid policemen in metro manila as they secure today’s mid term elections.
NCRPO chief Director Leonardo Espina and the metro’s five district directors received the motorcycles and additional communications equipment from PNP Director General Alan Purisima.
According to the Philippine Star, the 100 handheld radios came with 200 battery packs and 100 earpieces were distributed to the five police districts. The equipment will be used to respond to crimes faster after today’s election coverage.
