It’s now one dark turn after another in this story.
“About a year before he was killed, international car racer Enzo Pastor reportedly got into a fight with businessman Domingo ‘Sandy’ de Guzman III at the Hyve bar in Bonifacio Global City because the former reportedly found out about the latter’s affair with his wife,” report Jerome Aning and Nancy C. Carvajal in Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Pastor’s wife, Dalia, is alleged to have started an affair with De Guzman in 2012.

De Guzman has been accused of being the mastermind behind the June 12 murder of Pastor by P02 Edgar Angel, a policeman whom he had hired to do the hit.
The report noted: “Angel, who was arrested on August 23 for drug peddling but later admitted his role in Pastor’s killing, executed an affidavit saying he earlier met with De Guzman and Dahlia at the Manila port area. In that meeting, he said, the businessman asked for ‘help’ because Dahlia had [allegedly] been suffering beatings from her husband.”
Angel also added that “De Guzman even showed him pictures of a bruised Dahlia.” He said he was also “desperate for money” so he accepted the gruesome job.
To date, both Angel and De Guzman are under police custody. Dalia is still at large.
