Monday madness: Multiple vehicle crash on EDSA, at least 30 hurt

Monday is rough enough and it gets even more painful when accidents occur on the metro’s most crowded thoroughfare.

On Mon morning, Jul 18, at least 30 people sustained minor injuries in a multiple-vehicle collision along EDSA-Ayala that involved one closed van, a cab, three buses, and a motorcycle.

“The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said the accident happened at the corner of EDSA’s northbound lane and McKinley Road, just in front of a call center office,” reports ABS-CBN News.

The report noted: “The accident caused heavy traffic from the site of the accident all the way to Magallanes Flyover.”

Meanwhile, those injured were taken to different hospitals, including the Ospital ng Makati, Makati Medical Center, the Taguig-Pateros Hospital, and the Rizal Medical Center. An ambulance from the Makati City rescue team was on site.
