“Maricel Bautista, 36, and her teenage daughter Joana were among the students who recently graduated from the Muntinlupa City Open High School Program,” reports TV Patrol correspondent Abner Mercado.
Joana said her mother served as her inspiration to do her best in school. In fact, Maricel was described by their teachers as a “model student,” as she was a living example to everyone that it’s never too late to keep learning.
The Open High School Program (OHSP) is part of the distance learning program started by the Department of Education (DepEd) in 1998.
