Mocha Uson isn’t ready to say sorry to Kris Aquino.

The blogger, public official, and staunch Duterte supporter made this clear in a Facebook video posted earlier today, saying: “Ms. Aquino, this is not about you.”

This came just hours after Special Assistant to the President Bong Go reportedly said that Uson would apologize for the video she posted on Sunday that compared Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte’s controversial kiss with footage of Kris’ father Ninoy Aquino being kissed by a supporter right before his assassination in 1983.

Uson’s latest video, however, sounded nothing like an apology.

“This is my response to the live video of Kris Aquino. This is not about Kris Aquino. This is about putting malice in a kiss. It was simply compared to the actions of other leaders like her father,” Uson said in Filipino.

Although she did not specify what she was talking about, Uson also said in another Facebook post that she refuses to “apologize for the truth.”

Kris, a well-known actress and TV presenter, took offense in Uson’s  comparison, saying in a Facebook post that the blogger “[O]pened the wounds of a girl who was only 12 years old when her father was killed helplessly.”

Kris also challenged Uson in a Facebook and Instagram live video and said: “This is a direct challenge to you. Text me, you can find my number, it’s so easy. Name the place, name the location, let’s carry it live. Bring all your followers … I can stand alone.”

Uson’s non-apology came despite the fact that both Go and Duterte had already apologized to Kris for the issue.

In an Instagram post, Kris even thanked Go for understanding her side.

“SA (Special Assistant) Bong, thank you for your reply. Thank you for taking my feelings as a daughter into consideration & showing me EMPATHY. I am most grateful for a man as powerful as you are now for texting & vibering me the words ‘we are sorry for the incident.’ You have my sincere gratitude,” Kris said.

I took the courage to reach out to PRRD’s SA Bong Go (sorry sa initial post, nag auto correct to Gong- although cute yung Bong Gong. 😘)… thank you commissioner Aimee Neri for helping me reach him via text. i have known & liked him for 8 years. In this instance i am Ninoy Aquino’s daughter- he believed in the power of true & honest communication… SA Bong, thank you for your reply. Thank you for taking my feelings as a daughter into consideration & showing me EMPATHY. I am most grateful for a man as powerful as you are now for texting & vibering me the words “we are sorry for the incident.” You have my sincere gratitude. We all have 1 goal, a nation we can be proud of, and the best possible prosperous lives for all Filipinos. I love our country as much as our president does. I pray for #PEACE & mutual #respect for all of us. God bless you. 💙❤️💛🇵🇭
