Dear Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), please do this everywhere else.
“The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) recently launched their Mobile Passporting service in Valenzuela City,” reports Ed Mahilum in the Manila Bulletin.
As Valenzuela City Mayor Rex Gatchalian explained, “Valenzuelenos may now apply for their passports here (at the Valenzuela City Hall) and secure them in a short period of time with not so much hassle like rushing and queuing at the main office.”
On the day of the launch, at least 550 residents submitted their applications for passports, which are expected to be released on Feb 8 by the DFA at the Multi-Purpose Hall at SM Valenzuela.
