The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has lost its uber efficient Twitter and tech upgrade guy.

MMDA Chairman Francis Tolentino disclosed on Tuesday that lawyer Yves Gonzalez, dubbed as MMDA’s “traffic czar”, has tendered his resignation from the Traffic Discipline Office to work for a private company.  His last day with the MMDA will be on Thursday, May 30.

Gonzales is  mainly credited for efficiently handling the agency’s  Twitter and social accounts. He has also seen through projects such as coming up with traffic-related applications for iPhone and other smartphones, Inquirer News reported.
