Good to know that the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is keeping up with the times.
Following the succesful launch of mayhuliba.com, a website that enables motorists to check if their cars have been tagged under the no-contact apprehension policy scheme, the agency is set to launch another portal for checking if a person’s license has pending violations, Inquirer reports.
“We will launch www.mmdaelicense.com where motorists can input their license number to view if they have committed violations recorded by the MMDA,” explained MMDA Digital Media Deputy and Planning Officer Ria Rubia.
The “E-license” verification website is set to go live this week.
Details of a specific violation — like the time and place where it was committed and the corresponding fine — will be on the site.
“We will also include a copy of the summon there,” the planning officer said.
The project will help to lessen the number of inquiries the MMDA receives on a daily basis.
Our two cents? Take your cue from your mayhuliba.com. Make this website fun and easy to use, and you can expect it to be popular among tech-savvy drivers as well.
Thanks for making our lives just a tiny bit easier, MMDA!
