MMDA to target HS students in anti-smoking campaign

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will be targeting high school students next in its information drive against smoking.

MMDA health, public safety and environmental protection director Dr. Loida Labao-Alzona said the agency is coordinating with schools for the widespread campaign. The MMDA will be assisted by the Department of Health (DOH) and other non-government organizations including the New York-based Bloomberg Philantrophies, the Philippine Star reported.
