MMDA plans to put up more bike lanes

This should have been done decades ago.

“The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) is planning to put up more bicycle lanes in several parts of Metro Manila,” reports Anna liza Villas-Alavaren in the Manila Bulletin.

According to the report, the new bike lanes will be placed along Edsa-Ortigas, Camp Aguinaldo to Santolan and Luneta up to Intramuros area in Manila.

At the moment, there are already several bike lanes in place—along Marcos Highway in Marikina City, Edsa-Magallanes to Ayala, Commonwealth in Quezon City, around the Remedios Circle up to Roxas Boulevard, and a stretch on Quirino Avenue in Manila.
