This isn’t really a cause for celebration, is it?
“Due to bad weather, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has lifted the number coding scheme for Monday, September 15,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
The MMDA explained that the number coding suspension applies to the entire Metro Manila—except for Makati City.
In a dzMM interview, MMDA chairman Francis Tolentino said, “This doesn’t mean we’re encouraging the people to go out even if the kids are home because classes are suspended. We never know, there might be street floods due to intermittent rain.”
The report didn’t state Makati’s reason from not lifting the number coding scheme.
