The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has listed the 22 most flood-prone areas in Metro Manila

These are the places you must avoild when it rains:

1. España-Antipolo-Maceda in Manila

2. P. Burgos-Manila City Hall vicinity

3. Osmeña-Skyway (northbound) in Makati City

4. Osmeña-Skyway (southbound)

5. Edsa-North Avenue in Quezon City

6. Don Bosco, Makati

7. Buendia-South Superhighway (southbound and northbound)

8. C-5-Bagong Ilog in Pasig City

9. West Service Road, Merville in Parañaque City

10. East Service Road-Sales Street in Muntinlupa City

11. North Avenue fronting Trinoma mall, Quezon City

12. Buendia Extension-Macapagal Avenue

13. Edsa-Camp Aguinaldo Gate 3 in Quezon City

14. NLEx-Balintawak Cloverleaf

15. Edsa-SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City

16. Edsa-Pasong Tamo Magallanes Tunnel

17. Quezon Avenue-Victory Avenue/Biak na Bato

18. C-5-BCDA in Taguig City

19. R. Papa-Rizal Avenue in Manila

20. C-5-McKinley Road

21. C-5-Bayani Road

22. Philcoa area, Quezon City

“Emerson Carlos, MMDA assistant general manager for operations, said flood-control crews equipped with mobile pumps and other equipment are ready for deployment in these areas,” reports Maricar B. Brizuela in Philippine Daily Inquirer.
