MMDA Chairman: less campaign materials to clean up

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Francis Tolentino said on Wednesday that there’s 50 percent less campaign materials to take down in the 2013 polls compared to the 2010 Presidential elections.

According to Tolentino, MMDA personnel have been busy taking down posters, streamers, tarpaulins and other campaign related material along Manila and Pasay, specially along F.B. Harrison. He noted though that there isn’t as much to clean up compared to the 2010 elections. He explained that in 2010, they were able to fill up 15 garbage trucks after election was over, ABS CBN News reported.
