You know how badly PNoy and his administration want the Pasig River Ferry system to succeed because Kris Aquino is stepping in.
Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Chairman Francis Tolentino has reportedly asked the president’s sister to endorse the ferry service. She has, of course, agreed.
While the MMDA constantly claims that the ferry system has gotten favorable reviews from riders, many people say the ferry’s ability to bypass heavy traffic isn’t worth the stench of the river. Plus, we’re told, the heat is terrible.
This is probably why the MMDA offered free rides for another week. It had to convince more people to get on the ferry.
