A three-year-old boy who disappeared from his home in Quezon City was returned to his parents on Thursday after being taken care of by good samaritans.
John Gabriel Calimag was reunited with his parents on Thursday afternoon after being brought to the Pasay City police headquarters earlier in the morning by one Alexander Cruz. Contrary to initial reports, the boy was not abducted by an American. It was Cruz who saw him at the MRT station and cared for the boy for fear that he be taken by someone else.
According to reports, the 3-year-old left their home at NIA Road in Barangay Pinyahan and walked all the way to the MRT Kamuning station. Cruz said the boy was already crying when he saw him, the Philippine Star reported.
