If you’re going to deny being involved in the pork barrel scam, you might as well do it in style.
“According to Senator Miriam Santiago, a source has told her that there’s a plot to implicate her in the pork barrel scam to divert public attention away from those being charged for plunder,” reports ANC.
Santiago has named none other than her favorite enemy, Senator Juan Ponce Enrile, as the mastermind of the alleged plot.
She said, “I am honored to be included in his roll of victims because it indicates that he is feeling my barbs. Akala ko nakalimutan mo na ako. Salamat at naalala mo pa pala ako (I thought he had forgotten me. Thanks for remembering me).”
Of course, Santiago had to fire off this stinger, too: “If you are a 90-year-old sex addict…all those years without sex? It’s a fate worse than death. That’s why he’s going to throw everything, including the kitchen sink and his drones into this battle.”
