Mikey Arroyo says he was not part of pork scam

Here’s the latest pork scam denial. (It’s too early for a throwback, but here it is anyway.)

“Former Pampanga Rep. Juan Miguel ‘Mikey’ Arroyo denied he was involved in the pork barrel scam via a project cornered by businesswoman Janet Napoles,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

The report cited a statement, wherein the son of former President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo said: “I wish to state for the record that I have made no endorsement, by any means, of any funds purportedly coming from a certain SARO [special allotment release order] issued by former Budget Secretary Emilia Boncodin in October of 2002 and November of 2003, in my capacity as a member of the House of Representatives.”

Apparently, Arroyo is referring to “a story by the Philippine Daily Inquirer on a PHP407 million information technology project supposedly cornered by Napoles.”

So, who’s next?
