Metro police prepare for school opening

Metro police chief director Leonardo Espina said police officers all over the metropolis are preparing to secure the upcoming resumption of classes next week. In an Inquirer News report, Espina said city cops have been prepped to take charge over traffic flow, security issues, and increased police visibility in densely populated student areas.

Espina identified three important things that Metro cops are looking out for as schools reopen:security, traffic and the pricing of school supplies. He added that they have set up police help desks and beefed up police visibility by coordinating with the local government units (LGUs).
