Apart from the Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol Group (PNP-HPG) taking over traffic management on EDSA, Mon, Sep 7, is also the first day of implementation of the bus rerouting scheme.
From 6am to 9am provincial buses coming from the north end of EDSA can no longer go to Ortigas, Mandaluyong, and Makati.
Those coming from the south, on the other hand, should take C-5 via P. Tuazon Boulevard and then South Luzon Expressway. (Umagang Kay Ganda)
