Further in the trope of drinking sprees ending in tragedy: Two men in Pasig City tried to settle a grudge with blades earlier this week, attacking their neighbors with a 34-inch katana and a bolo.
Sixto Dorado and Jing Hermosilla have been accused of hacking their neighbors Ronald Bobos and Jesson Galanido whom they suspected of throwing stones at them while they were drinking inside their house. “Suspecting the victims, they armed themselves with samurai and bolo and went to the victim’s house and without any warning hacked them,” People’s Journal reported.
The report quotes Senior Police Officer 1 Lardy Ignacio as saying Bobos’s innards were slashed. Galanido was only wounded on his hand, though, because he was able to dodge the slashes.
