Makati Mayor Junjun Binay Binay got slammed for how he allegedly acted in an encounter with Dasmariñas Village security guards who barred the exit of his four-car convoy through one of the village’s gates last November 30, 2013.

Now, Binay can apparently joke about what happened.
“In an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN reporter Anthony Taberna, the Makati mayor said the incident has become a joke in the family,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
Binay related, “Naging katatawanan na lang. Biruan namin sa bahay: ‘Yan kasi, punta punta ka dun. Hindi ka naman mukhang taga-Village. Nahaharang ka ng gwardiya. Hindi ka nakita. Hindi nakita ng gwardiya (It’s become a joke at home. They’d tell me, ‘It’s your fault that you went there. You don’t look like you belong there. That’s why the guards blocked your way. Or maybe they didn’t see you. They didn’t see you)!'”
