It’s really such a mystery that this gang keeps striking and then getting away. The last time they struck was on December 15, 2013. This time, in addition to their favorite tool, they packed guns, too.

“On Tuesday morning, Feb 25, around four armed robbers used hammers to smash the glass display cases of the First Allied Emporium Jewelry Inc. located at the next to the ground floor General Araneta Road entrance of the New Farmers Plaza mall just across the Smart-Araneta Coliseum at the Araneta Center in Cubao,” reports Jeffrey Damicog in the Manila Bulletin.
The report said the suspects “took what is believed to be around PHP2 million worth of jewelry during the heist.”
The report cited Senior Supt. Procopio Lipana, deputy director for operations of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD), who revealed that “at least one of the fleeing suspects might have been shot by a responding policeman posted in the area identified as PO1 Leo Damo.”
Lipana said they were hunting down the robbers.
