“Mexican boxer Juan Manuel Marquez will take some time off before deciding whether or not to take a fifth fight against rival Manny Pacquiao of the Philippines,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
Marquez, who just beat former world champion Mike Alvarado in Los Angeles last Saturday, May 17, refused to commit to a fifth fight with his rival so soon after the bout. He was quoted as saying, “We’re going to have some fun with the family, since I haven’t seen them in three and a half months. I just want some time with them.”
