Jealousy makes people do very bad things.
“A 28-year-old man named Arnel Reposo mauled his 37-year-old live–in partner Judy Dela Cruz at their home in Marikina City because he suspected that she was exchanging ‘intimate’ text messages with another man,” reports Arlene Rivera on Journal Online.
According to Marikina Police Public Information Chief Supt. Virgilio Viloria Reposo was arrested based on a complaint filed by Dela Cruz.
The incident happened around 3pm on Monday. Dela Cruz was texting someone when Reposo arrived and saw her smiling while reading the messages.
Reposo then asked the victim if she was flirting with another man through text messages. Reposo then forcibly grabbed Dela Cruz’s phone. However, she resisted. This enraged Reposo, who then started beating her up.
Dela Cruz’s scream alerted their neighbor, who called the police.
