Manny Pangilinan says he won’t run for public office

He has no plans of getting involved in politics.

“Businessman Manny V. Pangilinan has thanked Vice President Jejomar Binay for wanting him to become his running mate in 2016 but he’s not accepting the offer,” reports Kristine Angeli Sabillo on Inquirer.net.

When asked what exactly he told Binay, Pangilinan said, “Thank you.”

When pressed to elaborate, he said, “Di ba sinabi ko na? Baka magalit na sa akin si Vice (I already answered. The Vice President might be offended).”

The report noted: “Pangilinan said his life only revolved around business and sports and that he did not know anything about politics.”
