Manila suspends classes in all levels

Some Metro Manila local government units (LGUs) have announced class suspensions for Tuesday, August 26, due to bad weather.

Manila Mayor Joseph “Erap” Estrada announced that classes for all levels (both public and private schools) are suspended due to heavy rains and flooding.

Meanwhile, Pasay City has suspended classes for the pre-school to high school levels for both public and private schools.

Earlier, the University of Santo Tomas (UST) and University of the East (Caloocan and Manila) had already said that they were suspending classes in all levels today.
