It’s definitely a cool spot.
“Thanks to a partnership between the city hall and the One Manila Organization, a 1,700-square-meter government lot in Paco has been transformed into a skate plaza,” reports Jodee A. Agoncillo in Philippine Daily Inquirer.
The Manila Skate Plaza boasts of a six-foot deep “bowl” and obstacles named “Snake Run,” “China Gap,” “Quarter Pipes,” “Stairset,” and “FunBox.”
During during the special park’s inauguration on Sat, Dec 12, Richard Espiritu, president of One Manila Org, said, “This is a dream come true after 20 years of continuous lobbying.”
The group has about 2,000 members in the city.
