The former action star wants to see some real action.
“Manila Mayor Joseph ‘Erap’ Estrada is leaving for Macau tomorrow, Friday, Nov 22, to watch Manny Pacquiao’s fight against Brandon Rios,” reports The Philippine Star.
Estrada revealed that Pacquiao had called him up and invited him to watch the November 24 boxing match. “He sent me a ticket. Pacquiao and I have been friends for a long time,” Estrada explained.
Meanwhile, Manila residents will be happy to know that the city government will provide free public viewing of the Pacquiao-Rios fight in seven city-owned gymnasiums in coordination with Solar Entertainment and 168 mall. However, the Philippine National Police cancelled the live screening of the Pacquiao-Rios bout so the relief operations for TyphoonYolanda victims won’t be disrupted.
