Last week, a 12-year-old girl named Roshelle Lingal was killed in Barangay Barit, Candaba, Pampanga. She had been brutally beaten—her head bashed and her eyes poked.
“On Monday evening, the police arrested the prime suspect in the girl’s murder, Jovany Endrino, 33, while he was attending the victim’s wake,” reports Jasfer Pamintuan on ABS-CBNnews.com.
Endrino is the husband of Lingal’s aunt.
The report revealed that “the girl had just come from a school field trip and was on her way home on Friday evening, August 15, when she bumped into Endrino.”
Endrino admitted that he bashed Lingal’s head and poked her eyes. Then, he dumped her body in a vacant lot.
Endrino said he killed the girl because he was angry at her father, Esteban.
Police said Edrino was carrying a sachet of shabu when they arrested him.
