Man suspected of killing his wife jumps to death from Las Piñas justice hall

There’s no telling what desperate people will do—and 44-year-old Siegfried Cabunoc was certainly that.

“A resident of Pillar Village, CabunocPillar Village—who was the principal suspect in the killing of his 54-year-old wife, Daisy—jumped to his death from the third floor of Las Piñas City’s Hall of Justice on Friday, Nov 15,” reports Perseus Encheminada in The Philippine Star.

According to the report Daisy had disappeared on Monday night, Nov 11. Her body was found in a grassy area near the village the next day. She was stabbed several times. Police reportedly found evidence that led them to arrest Cabunoc on Thursday, Nov 14.

At around 230 pm on Friday, Cabunoc was brought to the justice hall for inquest proceedings on the parricide charge filed by the police. Upon reaching the third floor, the handcuffed Cabunoc bumped his police escort and jumped through an open window.
