Man stabs his 11-year-old grandson

Kids should be taught to get away from all adults who may harm them. That includes family members.

“Reynaldo Sison, a resident of Yangco Street in Navotas City, was charged with attempted homicide in relation to child abuse after he stabbed his 11-year-old grandson on Tuesday night, April 1,” reports Rey Galupo in The Philippine Star.

According to Sison’s son, Jeremiah, the suspect arrived home at around 10pm. Suddenly, he got a knife and stabbed the boy. Horrified, Jeremiah said he grabbed his son. They then sought help from their neighbors.

Barangay watchmen accosted Sison, who could not explain why he stabbed his own grandson. The boy was taken to the hospital.

The report didn’t say where the boy got stabbed but it seems that he is already recovering from the wound. Unfortunately, he may never recover from the fact that his grandfather hurt him.
