This is the not-so-pretty side of Makati.
“On Wednesday evening, May 28, a man named Jesus Beronio was shot dead as he was walking with his wife and children along Magsaysay Street in Barangay Guadalupe Nuevo, Makati City,” reports ABS-CBN News correspondent Raia Capulong on ABS-CBNnews.com.
According to Beronio’s wife, Jennifer, a man she didn’t recognize shot her husband in the head.
Police later found out that Beronio had been getting threats since last week because he hadn’t been able to pay a “5-6” loan.
The investigation is still ongoing.
