“A 60-year-old man named Francisco Agustin set himself on fire inside his house in Barangay Kinangan, Malita, Davao Occidental,” reports ABS-CBN News Southern Mindanao correspondent Bonna Pamplona on ABS-CBNnews.com.
According to the authorities said the victim had an argument with his wife before he allegedly killed himself. His house also burned down.
Later on, the couple’s neighbors revealed that Agustin was previously detained in Muntinlupa. Agustin, they added, also seemed to be suffering from mental illness. He reportedly tried to kill himself every time he fought with his new wife.
