Man in QC shot dead while he was watching TV

The investigation is still ongoing.

“A 53-year-old man named Narcisus Romero was killed on Friday, March 13, while he was watching television in his house in Barangay San Isidro Labrador, Quezon City,” reports Betheena Kae Unite in Tempo.

The report noted: “Romero’s niece, Jeanne Claire Barcelona, who was upstairs, when two men entered his house and shot him in the head at around 1:40 p.m. Barcelona heard a gunshot and hurriedly went down to check what happened. She found her uncle lying on the wooden bench in their living room bloodied.”

According to the police, the suspects were able to enter the house by destroying the wooden gate. They quickly fled from the scene.

Barcelona related that Romero took care of her three kids while she was at work.

Romero was rushed to the Sta. Teresita Hospital and was later transferred to the Philippine Orthopedic Center where he died at 3:28pm.
