Man poisons supervisor in roast chicken spot

What a way to deal with a personal grudge!

“On Wednesday, May 14, Remcy Flores, an employee of a roast chicken shop in Valenzuela, was arrested after killing his supervisor by poisoning him with silver cleaner,” reports ABS-CBN News correpondent Carolyn Bonquin.

Police caught up with Flores in Plaridel, Bulacan. His 17-year-old former boyfriend, who was identified only as “Edward,” was also arrested. Two other suspects remain at large.

Flores confessed to killing his supervisor, Leonardo Baris. He said poured silver cleaner into the drink of the victim while the latter wasn’t looking. Then, Flores said when he saw Baris having a seizure, he hit the latter with a fire extinguisher.

Baris was reported missing on May 12. His body was later found stuffed in a box inside the roast chicken shop’s men’s room.

The report noted: “Flores said his two friends, who remain at large, helped him stuff the victim’s body inside the box. Edward, on the other hand, kept the victim’s motorcycle.”
