Man nabbed in Taguig for allegedly selling 200 Ecstasy tablets to BGC party crowd

We thought Ecstasy was out of style, but it still seems to be hot.

“Alexander dela Cruz, 41, was arrested on Tuesday night, Sep 23, for allegedly selling 200 ecstasy tablets, with a street value of PHP400,000, in a drug bust along C-5 Road in Taguig City,” reports Cecille Suerte Felipe in The Philippine Star.

The report noted: “Investigators are looking into reports that Dela Cruz sold the tablets for as much as PHP2,000 per tablet to ‘party-goers’ in Bonifacio Global City.”

Chief Inspector Roque Merdegia, spokesman of the Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operations Task Force, revealed that “the tablets bore lightning bolt marks.”
