A 38-year-old man — identified as “Ramil” in a report by Madelynne Dominguez in Tempo — was arrested for allegedly inserting an egg into the private part of his 34-year-old wife in Marikina City last week.
According to Senior Supt. Vincent Calanoga, Marikina chief of police, Ramil arrived at his home at around 9am and went berserk for no reason.
Ramil’s wife — who was identified only as “Rhea” — revealed that Ramil got a raw egg and did the unthinkable with it.
But Rhea’s horrifying ordeal didn’t end there.
When the egg broke, Ramil then rubbed it on her face. That was when Rhea’s screams alerted their neighbors, who sought the help of the authorities.
According to PO3 Rhina B. Castillo of the Marikina police women’s and children’s protection desk, Rhea disclosed that Ramil always harms her when he is drunk.
Ramil is now facing charges of violating Republic Act 9262 or “The Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004.”
