Sex, drugs, and violence. This story has it all.
A 50-year-old man named Edwin Pichay tried to escape from cops by scaling a fire exit but fell to his death on Sunday morning, May 4.
Pichay’s crazy story started at 2am that day, when he picked up a 22-year-old woman on Quezon Avenue and took her to his unit at Future Point Plaza 11, which is located at No. 115 Mother Ignacia St. in South Triangle, Quezon City.
“Pichay and the woman had sex. But instead of paying her afterwards, he beat her up and tried to make her use drugs (shabu),” reports Jeannette I. Andrade in Philippine Daily Inquirer.
Pichay sent away the woman, who went to the Kamuning police station and filed a complaint against him. The police quickly went to the condo unit to take in Pichay for questioning.
However, once they got there, they were startled by a loud crash. When they looked for the source of the noise, they saw Pichay’s mangled body on the fire exit landing.
The case has been turned over to the Quezon City Police District’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (QCPD-CIDU).
