Don’t drink and drive—and especially if you’re just riding a bicycle.
“Jaime Daguplo, a 30-year-old hotel cook, died after falling off the bicycle he was riding along Quintin Paredes Street in Binondo, Manila at around 1:10am on Tuesday, July 29,” reports Aie Balagtas See in The Philippine Star.
Sadly, Daguplo was reportedly drunk at the time of the accident. A security guard from a nearby establishment rushed him to the Jose Abad Santos General Hospital, but he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Daguplo worked as a cook at Crowne Prince Hotel.
